I'm dead aka I Watched SPN 3x16

castalieI just watched 3x16 and I'm... I don't even know. I'm still crying actually. I can't believe they did it! They actually sent Dean to Hell *sobs*
I felt like crying for most of the episode but at the end? When Dean was being torn apart - God, I almost couldn't watch that scene - I was bawling and then Sam knelt by his corpse and no-one could have comforted us!
I just - DEAN! That last scene fucking killed me; and his screams resonating even after the actual image of him in Hell had disappeared? Was so chilling and awful. Him calling out for help. Oh shit, I need to stop thinking about it *shivers* It really did me in.
Seriously, dude, seriously! My eternal love and respect for Kripke and Manners who actually went with it and didn't save Dean. I'm always surprised when a show does something like that. You always expect a sort of twist that will save everyone... when it doesn't happen, it's a bit of a shock.
As for the rest; oh man I have SUCH LOVE for that finale! From start to finish. Even though it was really bad for my blood pressure, I adore it when an episode makes me feel like that. SPN seems to be a category of its own; it makes me flail and fret. Like, physically. I'll scream and gasp and cringe and startle and cry. A lot. I LOVE SPN WITH THE PASSION OF A THOUSAND FIERY SUNS! I just needed to let that out :-)
So, anyway, yes, the rest of the episode. Loved everything. I think it sums it up pretty good lol The very first scene with Bobby - HI BOBBY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH TOO! - lasted around 6 minutes? In theory, maybe. Because I kept rewindind it, so lasted a 'tad' longer for me *cough*
Bobby was his awesome self and I can't get enough of his relationship with the boys... the way he relates to them - to Dean - is a joy to see ♥ ♥ "Family don't end with blood, boy" HEEEE! That whole scene was L.O.V.E!
And all the emotional scenes! So many of them! Sam so incredibly desperate to save Dean. Dean so desperate not to let Sam do anything that could turn against him. So paiful. And the honesty between them... I loved hearing Dean acknowledge their fucked-up pattern of sacrificing themselves for the others, how they love and take care of each other in a such a way that things always end up in tears and blood and that it had to stop here and now.
Actually I think I could run a loving commentary about every single scene of that episode so let's just that I loved it. I also hated it because it was painful and heartwrenching, but it was fantastic!
So to sum up; there's no way I could textually render my love for that show. Or that finale ♥ ♥
I'll wait for the fics to be written now - both FPS and RPS - because, well, if you watched the episode, you know why.
Oh and it was fun seeing Megan Connor/Anna Galvin in SPN :-)
And on a RL now. I had my job interview and it went really well! The head of department said he wanted to hire me but that he has to take it with the Human Resource Department and with the Dean and stuff. Apparently he's a bit at war with them because he's trying to develop his department and needs more people but they're a bit reluctant. Let's just hope he'll get the last word. Especially as the guy actually told me that he had no intention of paying me minimum wage... If he gets a say in it, I'll be paid more than what I earned before! Due to my experience and competence and diploma. I think my eyes got very wide at the comment because I thought that kind of thing didn't exist at the Sorbonne! But it does! Oh, man, this would be so great! So I'm keeping my fingers crossed now. I should get an answer by the end of the month *fingers crossed*

Here we so didn't get that and now I'm dying to see what happens next, while dreading it a lot!
Working at the Sorbonne is nice because it's the Sorbonne and it's a nice place and everything but it has many drawbacks, including minimum wages and no bonus or anything... the fact that the guy is willing to pay me more really surprised me. One hell of a pleasant surprise, obviously, but a surprise all the same.

OMG, yes! I knew I recognized her from something, but the only thing that came to mind was the recent mini-series Tin Man, and even then I knew I knew her from somewhere, but she looked so DIFFERENT in that show. Anyway, thanks for clearing that up. *g*

I'm glad there's more Bobby in this episode (dude, he was in an episode from The Unit and I recognized his voice before I recognized his face - he really has a special voice, doesn't he?)

Date: 2008-05-18 09:08 am (UTC)Alors pour Dean. En fait ce qui se passe, c'est qu'il se fait lacérer par les hellhounds; lacérer en beauté. Ca fait des énormes blessures, bien profondes, la peau est déchiquetée et tout.
Et c'est vraiment un cliffhanger-de-la-mort. La dernière scene, c'est Sam pleurant, le corps de Dean dans les bras.
Il y a un gros plan sur le visage immobile de Dean et y a comme un fondu enchainé de son oeil à un endroit vraiment bizarre - l'enfer donc, ou une espèce de lieu de transition, finalement on en sait rien, enfin la première chose que tout le monde imagine c'est l'enfer - imagine un espace sans fond, dans les tons noir et verts, y a comme des éclairs de temps en temps et des chaines tendues dans tous les sens qui semblent venir de nulle part.
Dean est au milieu de ces chaines, attachés par les bras et les jambes à l'horizontale - dans le vide donc - et j'ai remarqué ça qu'après la troisième diffusion mais y au moins deux meathooks, un qui lui transperce l'épaule et un autre le côté gauche du ventre, c'est une horreur ! Il est couvert de sang, en sueur, et il appelle Sam à l'aide... et l'épisode se termine, t'as le fond noir avec le nom des 'executive producers' qui apparait et tu entends encore son cri.
Sérieux, cette fin, je m'en suis pas encore remise !
Et pour 4x01, je crois avoir entendu que l'épisode devrait être diffusé début septembre... donc j'espère que c'était pas des bobards parce que là, je vais pas pouvoir attendre dix ans, crois moi !
Je te mets ma Dean is Happy icon parce qu'il faut que je m'enlève la dernière image de Dean que j'ai dans la tête.
