Aug. 25th, 2008 09:59 pmI found the perfect excuse to justify watching cheesy Jennifer Lopez films *iz proud* It goes a little like this: 'So I'm finally organising my paperwork and I needed some background sound to help me with it. Monster-in-Law, you say? Oh, I totally didn't know it was on, I just picked something 100% at random and I didn't know it was that kind of film and no you cannot change channel omg!' I think I need to work on that ending, though *iz less proud*
Okay, so I love Jennifer Lopez and love her cheesy films, so what? I'm not ashamed - much - to admit it. And I'm really not ashamed - for reals - to admit I think she's gorgeous and I might be a little bit in love with her. I'm always smitten with the simple and casual look she often has in her romantic comedies. Simple is the way to go. Women are often so much prettier when they're au naturel than covered with make-up and everything. That is, personal taste and all that jazz.
Changing the subject now, I went back to work today. Sadly. But it went okay and I survived it with my sanity intact - or what passes for my sanity, anyway - and I ended the day with some Starbucks with tbf!Sandra and! I finally bought my tickets for the terracota army exhibit that is being held in Paris atm - which I've been dreaming of ever since I heard they were in France - so, really, not a bad day at all!
And then there's talk about some new MCR pics on my flist and even though I could only saw two so far, they were definitely worth it so yay, new MCR prettiness! Always a good thing to come back to :-)

Date: 2008-08-26 09:59 am (UTC)I feel sad for you, though, at the idea of your return to the land of no 'Starbucks-at-every-corner'. Or is that, 'any' corner?

Date: 2008-08-25 09:35 pm (UTC)Terracotta army, omg! That's awesome.
... I need to find a Starbucks nearby and indulge in coffee. Something. I love it so. Guilty pleasure, much?

Tell me about it! I'm so incredibly addicted to Starbucks. Good thing several of my friends are too; it's like our headquarters in a way, we always meet there when we see each other :-)
