I was a doll and sent the link above to Smiles-a-Lot - favourite co-worker of mine - this morning because I wanted her to be able to get an update on the state of the world whenever she felt like it. She just pointed and laughed. This is what you get when you want to be nice! Next time the Earth might be destroyed? I won't send her any links. So there!
The morning flew by and then I played hookie in the afternoon. Only not. I just wasn't in the office, is all. I had to attend a seminar on IT management and stuff like ITIL v3 and ISO 20 000. Doesn't that sound really professional? I think it does. And it was even interesting. Just a tad too long, maybe. At the end I was busy writing this entry in my head - as you do. But there was a buffet to close the seminar so I'm not complaining.
In fannish news; I watched T:TSCC 2x01 and I'm so glad to have the show back! Mommy's little boy is growing up, isn't he? And he's also getting a new haircut, which is Supposedly Not Emo. Though can John Connor really abandon his emo behind? That remains to be seen.
I loved the Charley-Derek scene in the ambulance. And loved that last Sarah-Derek scene in the kitchen. I guess I just love Derek?
No surprise on the New Character being a terminator; with the way she talked and moved and the kind of things that came out of her mouth, the surprise would have been if she hadn't been. I'm still curious to see where this is going.
And finally - PATD Ref of the Day: I watched their Glastonbury Festival concert last night and oh the love! Why, oh why do I have to fall for a band once they're back in their country and have no plan on touring in mine anytime soon? This is such a sad state of affairs!

To be honest, I'm not really clicking on the links or the entries I see because there's a whole lot of tinhat comments floating around at the moment, and tinatry makes me uncomfortable, so.

Also, something awesome happened today. So I was at the Sorbonne with The Cellie and I was showing her my new mp3 player. And because it's even prettier and shinier when the lights are on, I turned it on. Music went on immediately and, of course, it was Panic. She was like 'hey, what's that?' So I told her the name of the band and without even saying anything she got hooked on them. Like, she listened to two of their songs and decided to go to her facebook account and 'become a fan' of the band.
I'm so good at pimping that I do it even while not doing anything \o/
