Still sick - the kind of annoying cold that is pretty low in the hierarchy of colds but makes you feel like crap. I think I'm gonna bail out on tbf!Sandrine tomorrow night. The bright side is that it means I'll be able to get home right after work and download the new SPN first thing and watch it on Friday instead of Saturday, which is of the good.

I had myself a nice tv night last night. And by 'tv', I mean I finally caught up with a couple of my downloads.

I watched The Fall - finally - and ohhh I loved it! Lee Pace was fantastic in that role and little Catinca Untaru was absolutely perfect - they both worked so well together! Their scenes looked so genuine - did they ad-lib a lot, I wonder? The film was like a fairytale and I was completely under its charm. I bawled my eyes out a couple of times but that's a very Mousey thing to do when watching tv, so...

I also watched N3 5x01 and I have one thing in particular to say - ( which is a spoilery spoilers that spoil )

And because I wasn't OD'ing on enough tv, I caught up with T:TSCC - I really enjoyed 2x05, ( for some spoilery reasons )

Lastly - this has nothing to do with anything - I finally got myself a new desktop for my work's computer. One that is fannish but not too 'in your face'.

So Earth wasn't swallowed by a homemade black hole in Geneva, was it? Just to make sure, let's click here. Good, that would be a big 'no'. Between you and me, I'm all for not being swallowed by a black hole. Especially not a little week before new SPN omg!

I was a doll and sent the link above to Smiles-a-Lot - favourite co-worker of mine - this morning because I wanted her to be able to get an update on the state of the world whenever she felt like it. She just pointed and laughed. This is what you get when you want to be nice! Next time the Earth might be destroyed? I won't send her any links. So there!

The morning flew by and then I played hookie in the afternoon. Only not. I just wasn't in the office, is all. I had to attend a seminar on IT management and stuff like ITIL v3 and ISO 20 000. Doesn't that sound really professional? I think it does. And it was even interesting. Just a tad too long, maybe. At the end I was busy writing this entry in my head - as you do. But there was a buffet to close the seminar so I'm not complaining.

In fannish news; I watched T:TSCC 2x01 and I'm so glad to have the show back! ( Hee look at that, a spoiler cut! So good to have you back too! )

And finally - PATD Ref of the Day: I watched their Glastonbury Festival concert last night and oh the love! Why, oh why do I have to fall for a band once they're back in their country and have no plan on touring in mine anytime soon? This is such a sad state of affairs!

I know it's now the 6th of March but,

jedicathy? When I started writing this entry it was still the 5th so a Happy Birthday to you and I'm totally not late, okay? *hugs*

Just watched the season finale of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles and they have to renew the show for a second season, please pretty please? ( Cue my rambling about some spoilery stuff. )

And because I didn't wax poetry about the show enough, ( here's something else that I quite enjoy in T:TSCC )

Also. When I said that SPN and T:TSSC begged for a crossover? I was so right. ( I think Papa Winchester could have learned some stuff from Sarah, after all. )

Btw, is Lawrence, Kansas becoming quite the popular town or what?

So, anyway, I'll miss T:TSSC like crazy... so, please, come back to us?

As for now... I hesitate between going to bed and watching the New Amsterdam premiere. Oh, well, sleep is so overrated!

My sleeping schedule is getting all screwy again. I always have the hardest time going to bed at a reasonable hour - reasonable meaning around midnight - when I work, so I let you imagine what happens when I don't have to get up early at all. It's not insomnia as such... but it still sucks. Will have to work on that.

I've just watched The Sarah Connor Chronicles 1x03 and I'm still enjoying it a lot. I'm rooting for everyone at the same time: Sarah, Cameron and John. They make one hell of a fucked-up team, it brings me joy :-)

Also, this show is begging to be crossover'ed with SPN, I swear! Sarah and John - papa Winchester, that is - are a match made in heaven and I can only imagine how intense, though fucked-up, their relationship would be, what with their respective obsessions. And also, hot. Dude.

I can also picture Ellison - made me laugh when I realized FBI Dude was called James Ellison, talk about confusing - having some heated chats with Henricksen about their jobs. They could give each other tips, moan about how their preys are driving them crazy and exchange ideas about how to make them pay once they've finally caught them. Could be fun! In a twisted kinda way, of course.

I also watched Kyle XY 2x14. I hadn't realised it was back! How horrible. But I know now, so everything is good.

Oh and yesterday I watched Ugly Betty 1x04 and 1x05 and I can't believe I'm saying this but, in "Fey's Sleigh Ride", I thought Betty, Marc and Amanda made quite a good team. I mean, Marc and Amanda! Who would have thought? Guess I'll end up enjoying even those two one day *sigh*
