I'm out of the loop guys, so please help me - someone wants to sum up the latest wank in SG? I heard it was a ship war --what else is new, really-- and that the 'victims' were the shippers of the Sam/Pete persuasion? Care to enlighten me?

I think Ladykillers officially made it to my Cursed Shows & Movies List - we missed it again, for the second time in less than four days, too. Cousins arrived too late. The guys are now watching Michel Vaillant downstairs --Juju seems obsessed with that movie-- and I sneaked in to update my LJ and check my flist *g* We're waiting for the second half of The Esu to join us and we'll decide what we'll do tonight. Maybe bowling? Since we didn't go either last Thursday *g*

Hey, my me day was really a success *g* I did pretty much everything I wanted to, and chatted on MSN as well - love me some chats with my buddies from my beloved flist *g* It was indeed a very relaxing day *happy sigh*

Notice how I don't mention 413 btw? Even though I'm so dying to watch it - I know the moment when I'll be able to download it is approaching and I'm soooooooooo looking forward to seeing it *bouncing* Something that impressed me is how the press talked about that episode! Not even kidding. Among other things, you can find a CNN article dealing with it. Said article contains major spoilers, so don't click if you haven't seen it yet and don't want to be spoiled silly *g* And pixiemoon mentioned an article in her local newspaper too, ie The Southwest Times - if I'm not mistaken. I mean, isn't it just incredible? Boggles the mind.

So yeah, back to square one, me wants to watch 413 *g* I hope Queer Eyes will cooperate the first time I try to access it, but I won't stop clicking until I'm IN and DOWNLOADING the file. Foi de Mousey *determined look*

Okay, just caught Henry on MSN. Bowling it is. I hope I won't hurt my hand or my wrist, I need it to do important stuff - and I mean typing on my keyboard! *glares*

Maybe I was spoiled by Joss, but what happened to having faith in the PTB (especially considering that they seemed to love plugging S/J)?

It's all brought up a new wave of Sam and AT and Pete bashing, sad that these so called fans have nothing better to do.

Sam/Pete yes. Well, I know it may be a little hard to believe, but Sam actually got herself a boyfriend who did not die in S7! I actually rather like this pairing because they really look cute together and you can see sparks between them --which you know I never saw between Jack and Sam-- and you know, Pete is actually alive which so makes for a nice change.

Sam deserves someone who actually loves and desires her back, and she also needs to look like a mature woman with said someone, and not like a cheerleader pinning after the captain of the football team. Well, Pete is apparently the one. I mean, all the others - they didn't even live in the same galaxy and anyway they all died! She needed someone alive!

That being said, J/S shippers are as valid as we all are, that's not the problem. It's not because I don't see something that I would deny them the right to actually see it - I just don't get those ship wars. We all have our OTPs, and yes they're definitely all different - so what? *shrug*

Well, S/P is *obviously* the work of the SDJ and teh eval slashers, who are trying to kill the ship and as such have uses their Mighty Influence with TPTB to get Sam a new man and to brainwash the entire cast and crew of the show into maknig Daniel be in it more. Or. Something.

I never realised we all had so much power! Apparently the S/P shippers joined forces with teh eval slashers to destroy the J/S ship, because from what I heard, the S/P shippers and us slashers have that much power and influence on TPTB.

Of course, I didn't know about said power and influence on said PTB or else I'd have used it way sooner!!

That being said, Amanda Tapping was quite clear during the French Con, she didn't want to be Jack's girlfriend...

AT keeps repeating that it's not where the show is leading - oceana_ just linked to an article where AT says it again. And actually, it's not even the problem when you think of it, if you have a OTP it shouldn't matter whether it's canon or not. I mean, even if it's not, what's the big deal? It almost feels as if some J/S don't have faith in their own OTP, really *g*

And I for one rather like S/P because I see sparks between them and they're just cute together. I'm impatient to see Affinity in that regard. If they don't ruin it that is, we'll see *g*

Fanon I'm all for J/D, you know that, but should Jack decide he wants an harem, well so be it lol
