castalieI had my moment of fame and glory last night during a tv show blind test that was one of the games we played at tbf!Sandrine's birthday party. I had the highest score with a total of 20/18 - I actually missed one opening theme but got additional points for finding titles in, like, two seconds flat? But I'm sorry, there are no known (or unknown) universe where I wouldn't recognise the ST:TOS opening theme, even if it's just one note! Guys, you'd have loved being there.
I got home this morning, cleaned the flat (it sorta really really needed it? Well it's done now \o/) and then OD'ed on tv shows ♥
SPN was watched first. And, ok, let me start with something that pretty much has nothing to do with anything? Except for how it's my duty (or my compulsion... maybe 'compulsion' is more accurate) to take note of every single time when SPN canonically agrees with me regarding my beloved Dean Is A Bottom theory. And, boy, this time? They went above and beyond!
Ok! So, now, Dean is so used to having guys inside him? That he's actually supposed to be taken by an archangel! It was written! It was written that he's supposed to get an archangel inside him! That an archangel will use him. I can't even - wow, you guys, wow! This is even beyond my wildest dreams, I have to say. Sure, he's saying 'no' now but a) he needs to talk about the "proposition" with Sam first and see if Sam gives his permission, b) he likes to play hard to get, it's his thing and c) Zachariah was asking. Of course Dean isn't going to agree with anything Zachariah asks! Oh, Dean ♥
And some other comments - not having to do with bottom!Dean, promise.
1. Seriously now, I might have squeed a little bit re: Dean's being Michael's vessel. I hadn't seen that one coming. Dean is a weapon! His body is supposed to lead God's Army (which, hey, talk about balance, eh Sam?). They apparently know that 'looks' are important. Michael definitely knows how to pick them *approves*
2. Castiel still knows how to make people notice him when he enters a room, doesn't he? And I totally agree that his being back after exploding in million little wee pieces demands some answers but WHO CARES? Castiel is back, yay! No surprise here, but I was still impatiently waiting for him to pop up on screen. HI CASTIEL HI!
Also, Cas! Did you see? Dean-o remembered the banishing-sigil trick. How cute was that? Though Castiel had to show off once more and even upped the ante with the whole carved-rib sigil thing. Which, ouch!
3. I might not have seen Bobby's possession coming per se but I was waiting for the revelation to be made that he was, indeed, possessed because I couldn't believe he'd say that to Sam! Too painful. Oh and Bobby what did they do to you! I suppose I should have been more specific when I was begging Kripke not to kill Bobby. I should have told him not to break him either!
4. Speaking of painful, so in a way we've been waiting for four years for Dean to, like, express his feelings when he's hurt and upset and stop keeping things for himself and stop basically always apologising for Sam and when he finally does? OUCH! I ached for Sam, I really did. I was the first to rant about his always lying to Dean, but it hurt me all the same when Dean told him he wasn't sure he could trust him again. And it hurt even more when he flat out said that things wouldn't ever be the same between them. Oh, boys! Also, YAY MY WEEKLY DOSE OF WINCHESTER ANGST IS BACK!
In a completely, completely different genre now. Omg, I'm so in love with TBBT and the gang (all of them, but with a special mention for Sheldon, cause hee Sheldon!), there are no words for it! Sitcoms are in a category of their own, so my love for that show is different from my love for, say, SPN, but I've started mainlining the second season and it's been glorious :-) The ending of "The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis" had me laughing so hard that I was crying and I couldn't even see what was happening on the screen anymore. I remedied that by rewinding the scene, oh, a million times? Approximately, yes.
I meant to ask. I think photoshoots were done at Comic Con with the cast posing as Superheroes... I didn't really pay attention at the time but now regret not doing so. Could someone send me a link please? Yes, I'm lazy, sorry. And tia.

Date: 2009-09-13 06:06 pm (UTC)SPN now, because OMG, I was in heaven all along (if I can say that^^). When Castiel appeared on the screen I squeed so hard I think my neighbours heard me lol Of course I was wainting for him, the little angel is always there to save his little Dean that's so cute^^
And for Bobby, the scene when he said that he didn't want to see Sam anymore was so painful. Sam's puppy look was so adorable, I wanted to hug him all the time. Really with this look, I forgot that sometimes he was a pain in the ass lol *hugs little Sammy".
Of course, the last scene was even more painful, but like you, I was glad when Dean said what he thought for a change but it was still painful to hear. *pets the boys*
I'm so impatient to be next week now.

Date: 2009-09-13 06:13 pm (UTC)I wanted to hug Sam a lot too. And I felt so bad for him because I kept wondering what kind of apologies you could make for bringing the Apocalypse on Earth. I mean, there's fucked-up and there's this.
But I loved how Dean told Sam that Sam was the one person he relied the most on. Sure, it was in the context of 'I used to rely on you and you betrayed me and I'm so upset now' but still. He said it. With words and everything.

But it is sooo good to know that he's Michael sword, isn't it? ÖÖ
And, yeah, I'm happy about dean being able to tell Sam what he really feels. Sammy trying hard to be forgiven, Dean trying hard to play the part where there is nothing to be forgiven and then couldn't be able anymore to play his big brother part. Heartbreaking! But so much better than their relationship in the whole S04!
Can't wait for more!

Aaaw you have a Sheldon icon now ! The Bath Item Gift Hypothesis is one of my all time favourite episode !! I love the ending too and I adore Penny and Sheldon's relationship (in a totally non shippy way since for me Sheldon is from an entirely different species lol).
