This post is not, I repeat, not about XMFC (which I possibly saw for the eighth time on Thursday night - my BIL threatened to send both Cookie and me to X-Men Addict Anonymous), not about how I'm still fascinated by Charle's view of life and his love and respect for life or how I'm still enamoured with the relationship between Erik and him, nor it is about how every single scene they share together still fills me with glee or how I still love the bond between Raven and Charles. This post is not about that all.

Instead I'll talk about my Saturday, which was nice. I didn't work on my thesis as much as I would have liked but I still managed a couple of hours so all wasn't lost. Plus I have all of tomorrow plus Monday (which I have off) to catch up, I'm still on schedule. While I was studying, Cookie worked on the drawings she's been commissioned for work.

When we were done, we caught up on White Collar - "Dentist of Detroit" was pretty fun, though I wish we'd had a little follow-up to Peter and Neal's fake argument. I mean, as fake as the fight was, the topic wasn't and I wish we'd had a little scene between the two talking about it, even in passing.

I'm also having some issues with Moz (even if I still love the guys to pieces) because he seems so hell bent on dragging Neal away from the new life he's made for himself - or, let's say that he's been trying/starting to make for himself. Neal is an adult and should take responsibility for his choices, I know, but Moz isn't exactly playing fair, is he? It's painful seeing Peter and Neal lie to each other like that... though it's also interesting seeing Moz and Peter basically engaged in a tug of war to win Neal once and for all. And it's a bit sad - and frustrating - seeing Neal being torn between the two lives. Though, admittedly, he has to make a choice at one point. It's also pretty interesting, mind; technically I like it when writers aren't afraid to mess with their characters and their characters' dynamics. All that to say, I'm still into White Collar and curious as to where Jeff Eastin is leading us.

We also watched the season premiere of True Blood - I missed that show so much! - and I'm afraid I only have one comment to make, namely not enough Eric! I know, not exactly the most detailed review, I'm sorry. But there really wasn't enough Eric. Or Pam.

Then earlier we decided to be very dietetic and baked cupcakes (banana with ganache frosting and banana with roasted chestnust frosting) which we had for dinner with milky tea. Delicious.

And a couple of pics behind the cut - I saw my best friend Sandrine and my nephew after work on Friday and we spent the evening together and because Lucas had never seen the Eiffel Tower, we decided to take him there. I'm afraid he was more impressed by the carousel next to it than by the Dame de Fer but Sandrine and I aren't five years old so we could appreciate her the way she deserves, even though it wasn't our first time. I took a couple of pics with my Blackberry, if you're interested.

Je viens de regarder un épisode de Hex, et à mon moment Azazeal verse une larme et la musique de fond aurait très bien été avec XMFC et j'était toute "Erik !" <3 <3 <3 devant mon ordi.

Well, once again failed to go watch XMFC but wasn't able to control myself and watched a big part of it in very bad quality. Bad quality aside, you were right about the relationship between Erik and Charles and I already have one line in my head which so needs to be used in fic. I need to finish the movie before I can write it though and maybe should check if nobody else had the same idea and it's already been done :P

I bought season 3 of True Blood this weekend and am now watching it as fast as I can (which is not very fast, I'm sorry to say) because I have been downloading the first eps of True Blood season 4 and want to watch it with everyone else :P

Eiffel Tower is pretty. We need to come back to Paris, it's been several years already and last time we met up with friends and took lots of pics and had a lovely time :)

I'm taking so much more pics now that I have a smartphone, it's pretty cool :-) Glad you enjoyed them.

I agree with you. Though I'm hoping with the new plot we might get to see more of him? Have you watched the latest episode yet?

I still haven't seen the latest episode. But I've heard they're using the amnesia plot, at least I hope they are.

They are and they're doing a pretty fine job with it, too. Eric is just the cutest thing!
