Jan. 9th, 2013 11:23 pmI'm always pouting when I go through my flist in the morning (when I'm sipping my ricorée-milk) and it takes me approximately five minutes? Then I think of my own posting frequency and, well, I guess I can't really keep pouting if I don't post myself, right? So, hi, I'm posting! *waves*
Another hectic day was had at work and a new deadline was met - it went well, I liked that. What I also liked (look at that segue, guys!) is the latest episode of The New Normal, which is exactly what I needed to relax after a busy day at work. It never fails to be a happy, feel-good, sweet show and the sap in me laps it up. Besides, it was the much-awaited Matt Bomer episode \o/ Incidentally it made me miss WhiCo even more #IsItJanuary22ndYet?
Later on, I'll be treating myself with a slice of the yogurt cake that Cookie made (tonight was very domestic, I cooked tomorrow's lunch, did the laundry, put away our clothes from last laundry, did the dishes as well as a bit of a cleanup in the kitchen. Then Cookie decided, out of the blue, to bake a cake #Score) and then I'll go and read some more The Hobbit fic. Amid all the kinky stories I've found some gorgeous ones dealing with The Battle of the Five Armies and damn, I can't really read more than one at a time because SADNESS! They're going to kill us when we reach that part of the story, aren't they? And I know some people keep saying that one shouldn't get attached to those pairings including members of the line of Durin because it doesn't end well for anyone but I just couldn't not get attached, ok? They made them so awesome that I can't keep away. And I know I'm in for a heartache but what can you do? *sigh* I guess I'll just wait for ALL THE FIX-IT STORIES to be written when The Hobbit: There and Back Again is released.
Speaking of The Hobbit, I bought the latest issue of Magazine Littéraire (a literary magazine) which focused on Tolkien and I found out he never meant to create Faramir, that his character just happened one day? Omg, my most favourite character of LOTR almost never came to life! *clings to Faramir*

Date: 2013-01-10 09:02 pm (UTC)In turn you end up feeling a bit distanced from LJ and not updating yourself, which just doesn't help. Such is on-line-life, I guess, platforms come and go. Still, I miss the Good Ole Days!
I do like hearing about other people's domesticity too, to be honest :)
