Mariage pour tous
Jan. 27th, 2013 09:36 pmToday was very special, you guys, as it was the (second edition of the) Parisian pro Marriage Equality demonstration (yesterday was in Lyon *waves to
crazybutsound*).
I was thrilled because there were many, many people. It was quite moving to be there to defend our rights to marry the person we love and I was so happy to share this moment with all those people. Also very happy to be there in such good company as Cookie was with me (duh) but also my mom, my sister and my cousin's Rémi's girlfriend, as well as
greedy_dancer,
rosengirl,
jedicathy and
vilyajade. We even managed to stay together the whole time and never got separated #GoUs
As I said, there were so many people; young, old, straight, gay, bi, friends, couples, families etc. etc. It was loud, it was colourful, it was dynamic, it was heartwarming. People were so happy to be there ♥ And, you know, I just love seeing all those rainbow flags, they always stir something in me...
Oh, and the signs people were carrying were fantastic! In turn witty, touching, funny or even geeky (case in point the last pic behind the cut). Sometimes quite twisted, too. But always so very true.

2.
It started out very grey and cloudy (it was raining cats and dogs the morning, I feared it'd discourage people from coming) but it was ok because we had many rainbows anyway! (Spoilers: it didn't rain during our march, after all, and we even got a bit of sun and blue sky!)
3.
This one is a bit difficult to translate as it's a pun on a French phrase but I'll go with "Go queer yourself"
4.
5.
"Even Gollum had his ring!"
6.
"Marriage for everyone, or sodomy for no-one" lol
7.
8.
9.
10.
Sign on the left : "Yes to the right to divorce for everyone!" Sign on the right: "Thank you, Assisted reproductive technology" (ART = PMA here).
