You guys, I've been feeling rubbish the past two days. It was quite annoying as it felt like I was coming down with something but nothing was truly happening, so I was in this in-between state where I felt rubbish enough that it tired me even more than I was and made me want to complain about it (as you do), but not enough that I could go to my GP and ask him to make it stop. I did decide to take it easy today, at least. The plan was not to set a foot outside, not meet anybody, not go anywhere and just stay put, maybe even mostly in bed. What a novel idea, that was! In the end, we might have to go outside in the afternoon but, in the meantime, I am staying in bed :)

So I know I've been away for quite some time, here're some news All About Me.

I've been accepted to the Master's degree program that I applied to back in July. I'll be doing it in two years instead of one (which they allow full-time workers to do) and it's a relief because the program is pretty dense. It sounds as interesting as it seemed to be on paper though, so I'm glad, and I do think I took the right decision going in. Now we'll see whether I can make it work :)

The class I've been teaching has been going really well but alas they're changing my schedule so now I'll be teaching on Tuesday instead of Monday, which in itself isn't a big deal, but I'll have a different group as well as a bigger one. My students! That was a bit of a bummer :/

Onto the fannish. I'm already behind my shows but I managed to watch the premiere of How to Get Away with Murder and was pleasantly surprised about it. I'll watch the second episode and see from there. Still haven't watched Gotham, though it's on my To Do list for today. Same thing with Person of Interest and Downton Abbey.

I've picked up my reading and plan on finishing (it's only 195 pages) Annihilation by Jeff Vandermeer today and then start Nous, les Dieux by Bernard Werber because a) it's been ages since I read one of his books even though he's one of my favourite authors (French or otherwise) and b) it's been ages since I read a book in French, period, and that's a bit ridiculous.

Speaking of books and reading, BooksAreMyBag is hosting the BookADayUK tag and those book tags are always lovely so here's today theme: A book with a beautiful spine. I couldn't pick just one:

Book4-spine

Have a nice weekend, flist ♥
