Thing the first and before I start my usual rambling, today isn't just any day since it's the birthday of a very special and ever so generous lady, namely [livejournal.com profile] aswanargent - Joyeux Anniversaire, lovely Swan. I hope you had a wonderful day, you sure deserve it *kisses*

Thing the second, I spent the evening at The Esu's yesterday --like every week-- and we played our Casimir Récré-Télé board game --like every week-- and it never fails to make me nostalgic so I've been listening to my Dessins Animés de Notre Enfance homemade CD [the animes we watched when we were kids and which all became sacred cultish in France] since I came back from the U, and because I can be nice, I uploaded some files for you guys. I'm thinking more of the French Posse here since most of them will get the references, but if you're curious go ahead.

The lyrics are so very cheesy it's not even funny but it's so sweet and it's such an important part of my childhood that I can't mock them.

Clémentine
Les Chevaliers du Zodiaque by the infamous Bernard Minet [Saint Seiya]
Jayce et les Conquérants de la Lumière [Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors]
Creamy, Merveilleuse Creamy [Mahô no Tenshi Creamy Mami]
Capitaine Flam
Les Mondes Engloutis [Spartakus and the Sun Beneath the Sea] Actually that one, I don't find cheesy at all, just beautiful, I love it. The lyrics are really poetic. My sister told me there's a rerun on one channel of the new TNT network - man, I wish I could see it [/greedy]. Also when I was around seven, I was a big fan of Les Ministars, and they're the ones who sang the different songs for Les Mondes Engloutis so it's even more special [/nostalgic]

It's scary but I watched all those animes when I was a little kid, like from 5 to 12 year, and at 25 I still remember all the lyrics by heart... and I'm not the only one, most people my age do. La génération Albator est la meilleure, woohoo!

Btw? I have around 400 files on this CD, so if by any chance there's some DA you'd like to have... just let me know, all right?

Thing the third, Scar killed me today!

Thing the fourth, BitTorrent is the most beautiful and shiniest thing I've ever seen.

Thing the fifth, I need to code the SentinelThurs stories, which I'll do tonight... in front of SG S8 which premieres in around 55 minutes, yay!

Bernard Minet, aaaah :D I even bought the French CdZ soundtrack in those days, but oh my god, when now I compare it to the Japanese originals... I shiver and shake :) But yes, the nostalgia when listening to those songs is great :)

Couldn't agree more with Thing the fourth!

Who didn't have their CdZ paraphernalia at the time, huh? lol

It's so incredible. I mean, I used Shareaza and it did bring me stuff, but it's not even remotely the same and I'm so very enamoured with BitTorrent, wow! I already downloaded three tv show episodes and two anime episodes... and it hasn't been more than three days since I downloaded BitTorrent lol

Les ministars... j'avais la cassette! :D Je les adorais - et bien sur tu te rappelles de Superloustik *giggles*

actually just a copy of the CD would be great - or do you want a list? hey, remember the CD you gave me for my birthday a while ago? is it weird that I still listen to Mask and the rest very loudly when I'm alone? LOL

Those files are very old. A friend of mine burnt the CD for me when I was in high school and didn't even know the wonder of internet yet. I only suspected it *g*

Nan t'avais la k7? You lucky thing! And OMG of course I remember Superloustic, wow *feels like a little kid again*

I'd already planned on making a copy for you, so it's not bother either way *g* And re: Mask, nope it's certainly not weird *shakes head vehemently* I do the same, so see? Not weird.

My sister and I listened to Superloustic all the time when we were kids. We even called to play a game and won! I still remember what game it was and what song it was... and I think I was ten or something at the time lol

I loved it to pieces *nostalgic sigh*

Bit torrent is the best thing ever! It downloads so nicely, all the shows that I wouldn't see otherwise.

Man, how can you code and watch tv at the same time? I can't or I make horrible mistakes that throw the whole page off.

I honestly never imagined BitTorren woult be so awesome. Not only is it a godsend for tv series but for anime as well. I'm downloading like three series [anime] atm in addition to my usual tv series and it's just the beginning!

Feels like there's not a single thing I can't do while watching tv at the same time lol

Thank you for my birthday greetings! I didn't have a chance to stop by your LJ yesterday (stupid work -- read my post), but seeing the message today makes me just as happy as I would have been if I'd seen it yesterday.
