Well damn, I never realised how many Firefly fans I had on my flist! At one point I thought the Firefly entries had to be an odd sort of LJ Entry By Default. But no, twas just an endless list of fans rejoicing - you're so sweet *hugs flist* Actually hey, though I never watched the series --yet, cause simonesa? I did get the message *kisses*-- I still joined in the squeeing because OMG David Krumholtz was in the trailer! No, he was - I'm not delusional and I'm not seeing Charlie everywhere, it's true. And really this time, it's not my fault that a new Numb3rs reference has been made because I truly thought Firefly was safe, ie Numb3rs-proof. Only it wasn't. So. Not my fault.

AND last night at 3.30 am I started a new Don/Charlie! The bunny I mentioned earlier grew enough in the end *g* I'm on a roll, guys, and believe me, better take advantage of it now because I'm sure my new cesty!muses will soon find out how things work around here and they'll join my other muses in their I Will Work When I Want To Where I Want To How I Want To And There's Nothing You Can Do To Make Me Give You Inspiration So Don't Bother mentality. But in the meantime? Yay!

I remember when I was still sharing Clark with the family... I still had the desktop of my choice. I'm stubborn that way lol And they're never surprised by any of my most... colourful tastes so even slashy wouldn't ave deterred them in the slightest lol

how crazy! i just spent the evening with green_queen and a bunch of other geeks (*g*) who went to the sneak preview of Serenity, tonight, in Sydney! i spent a couple of hours listening to people talking excitedly about Joss Whedon and Firefly and lots of series i hadn't seen and references i couldn't catch, but somehow the passion always translates, it was great.

anyway, GQ then came to my place and looked the movie up on imdb ... and i saw him! Charlie! and my first thought was for you *g*

Happy to hear that you're finally getting Lost. But if it's going to dubbed, how can you bear to watch it since you know how the characters are really supposed to sound? Especially true for the people with the accents (Claire, Charlie, Sawyer, Sayid).

I think Lost tonight is a "if you've never seen the show but want to catch up in one hour, watch this" episode. Not a bad idea to have a refresher before the big season-ending cliffhanger finale.

You know, dubbed is how we get them all shows so it just sounds natural somehow. I always love the original versions best [bar one exception] but I usually don't have too much trouble with the dubbed ones - unless I want to be picky because of course, you always lose something in translation, but well, let's not be snob about it lol

Thing is, I'm actually real curious and already amused at the thought of how they're going to treat the whole Fake French Woman business because... well, obviously they'll have to find something. I wonder how much it's going to be butched or if they're going to find the perfect trick *is really curious*

I think that only the native French speakers (or people who know the language)had trouble with her accent. She sounded fine to the rest of us.

From what I've heard, the finale is supposed to be mind-blowing. I don't think they want us to think about anything else over the summer.

Oh, did you know Boone isn't gone for good? Apparently he's going to turn up in a number of flashbacks in Season 2.

I told rosybug that I'd give her instructions on how to load icons, so of course I had to go find one or two new ones to add to my own set just to make sure my instructions were correct. This is one of them. Pretty, hmmm?

That's definitely something only native French speakers noticed yeah. I think that's what they counted on, that no Americans [primary audience, I mean] would notice the actress wasn't even remotely French. It sure is annoying when you are French and you listen to her talk *cringe*
