Ouch

Yesterday I sent a mail to a professor at the university to tell her about some little difficulties I met two days ago. The woman is my guardian angel there, and she actually replied this morning apologizing about said difficulties. Incredible. The woman is helping me like no one else ever did, and she's *apologizing*? I'll have to send her an e-card with a huge bunch of flowers or something! *shakes head fondly*

Anyway, this isn't why I said 'ouch'. When I read her mail, I realized something weird. She replied to the last mail I sent, and she let all the informations on the mail, like you know :

'Insert Name' wrote : and then then original message.

That's when I realized it wasn't my real name inserted, but my *nickname* *sigh* I actually sent her an official and supposedly serious mail using one of my fannish addies!

Nicely done, Mouse! Send a serious mail using your fangirl persona! lol

*wide eyed* oh my. And she still replied? Wow, she's God sent this one! *raises eyebrow* is she an old teacher or a young geek anyway? Either way, it's amazing she was cool enough to reply to spacemonkey lol

um. i always send emails to universities under my intnet address. i change the handle there all the time. i remember when i was emailing unis a lot last year, i was using 'misanthropic ignorant ape'.

and i emailed my aunt with "i want jack's ass...for daniel of course'. hehehe.

Don't worry, that happens all the times. I think I know most of my students' nickname, stuff like... "Gringolechamo..."
