Oh Man!

I was cleaning up my HD a little when I realized that my TS fic "To Fight and to Hold" hadn't been posted yet! It's been written around a couple of months ago, but I kept on delaying its archiving, and in the process, I kept on forgetting I still had it on my HD. Typical.

I decided to post it at least at my LJ for the moment-- as a reminder or something-- before posting it at my usual archives. Of course, I re-read the whole story to make sure everything was good, you know? Well, I was inspired when I checked the thing again, believe me!

I don't know what happened but the fic I have on my HD is not the betaed version but one of the old versions, ie one that still needed corrections! Man! I feel so stupid!

I must have messed up when I was pasting the new and corrected version, and instead of saving the new one, I just kept the first draft. Sometimes, I hate myself, I swear! *pout*

I sent the story back to Bobbie, hopefully, she'll be able to look at it again, but man, this is such a bother! I'm definitely thanking myself for having re-read the fic *before* posting it though, believe me! This is official, being over-confident is definitely not a good thing, whereas being paranoid is! lol

That woman is a goddess! She just sent me a mail telling me she certainly still has the betaed version on her HD --here someone who's so much more disciplined that I am!-- and if she doesn't, she'll do it again for me. Man, she's a savior!
