Sounds of an alien world
Jan. 17th, 2005 03:44 pmFour-Hour Exam #1 over and done with, yay! There's something weird with the oral though since Mr Teacher teach didn't give us the date and actually acted as if there would be no oral, which is just... not normal, so I think I'll have to contact the department soon.
How much do I love internet and its wonders, let me count the ways. I just spent several minutes listening to some sounds of an alien world over and over again - it's actually quite hypnotic and just so very incredible, I couldn't stop the file. No, I'm not doing a remake of XF all by my lonesome - I paid a little visit to ESA Portal and listened to audio data collected by the Huygens Atmospheric Structure Instrument (HASI), which includes an acoustic sensor, during Huygens' descent. So yes sounds of an alien world! Isn't that just unbelievable? Seriously, we can listen to sounds from another world on our computers... I'm always all giddy when I can download a file coming from another country, so from another moon? Fascinates me beyond the telling of it.
And to end on a fannish note - though hey, one can fangirl some weird sounds from outer space, right? - remember my post yesterday? Well two new interests are now listed on LJ following it, namely whiny little bitch movt and justhuman!Daniel. Yes because see... why not? lol

patsie's LJ and worship the pics she posted of some of the Lost cast at the Golden Globe's ceremony. I think it should be declared illegal to look that good - they're so gorgeous and hot that words don't them do justice [/drama queen]
