Roma Caput Mondi
May. 10th, 2013 09:18 pmHello, flist. I'm back from my little trip in Rome with Cookie. Our three days there were well spent, believe you me! We basically didn't stop (in spite of the rain all day Monday - well, it did stop around 5.00PM, admittedly - and Tuesday morning). It didn't prevent us from doing everything we'd planned, though, and we had a blast. Cookie fell in love with the city, I was so happy :) We wandered in the city and did our visits all day and then spent our evenings at my godmother's, which means we were never in bed before midnight. As a result, we're absolutely knackered, though for the best reasons, obviously :)
( So I took more than 400 pics with my phone - I love my phone so much, hee - and I've managed to make a selection of 40+ pics to share with those brave enough to look behind the cut ;) )
Ok. Stopping now ;) This is a sample of what we've seen and done but it should give you an idea of all the beautiful monuments/sites we've visited during our trip. I love those cities where there is something to see at every corner and where you're surrounded by History. You don't know where to look sometimes, it's dazzling :)
