So. Today was Monday. Is it bad that I'm already impatient to be Friday? Though wait that's not a hundred percent accurate. In reality I'm really impatient to be tomorrow because by then I'll be able to download the new Black Donnellys and since I'm deep into TBD these days - that and s1 of L&O:CI - well, it's really something to look forward to :-) So is it tomorrow yet? *bounces*
I had a great week-end, guys! Rémi's party was a success and seeing him so happy was just wonderful. We stuffed ourselves - well, The Sis and I, participating in Lent again this year, had to be a bit more careful about what we ate but a) there was more than enough different meals on the buffet and b) the cake arrived past midnight so it was okay :-) - and we laughed and danced and just had a blast.
Also, there was this funny moment when Kevin - one of Rémi's best friends - decided to play on the slashy side of the road when he French kissed my cousin after a wrestling match between the two of them on the dancefloor. I was like 'oh look, two straight boys kissing each other on the mouth, it doesn't just happen in fanfics!' It was, of course, my duty to report that slashy happening, so there *nods*
Oh! Unrelated now but Josh Lanyon replied to mail I sent him! It's the first time I write to an author I like; maybe I'll start doing it more often :-)
And unrelated #2 - a commercial that I adore at the moment. From the Free Hugs Campaign. In Paris that one.
It makes me feel all tingly inside. Of course it's a campaign that has to do with AIDS so it's not schmoopy per se but it's the message of love that gets to me...

Date: 2007-03-12 10:15 pm (UTC)Lol, I know exactly what you mean. Man, I still can't believe how hard I fell for that show.
I'm glad the party was a success and yay for slashy happenings. There needs to be more stuff like that happening outside of fanfics. *nodnod*
Also, that add is fantastic. ♥

Date: 2007-03-12 10:43 pm (UTC)Completely unrelated but if I were to be able to make it to Paris some weekend in April, you think there'd be a chance of meeting up? I don't know that I'll have the money but if I can get it, I was thinking of coming up for a weekend to see a couple of people and I'd really like to be able to see you as well. If it happens, it'd be around mid-april.

Date: 2007-03-17 12:23 pm (UTC)So I just saw that you're going to Corsica so I guess we'll have to meet another time? But in any case, of course, whenever you come to Paris, I'd love to see you *nods*
Also, for now I still have the Teacher Persons home so I can't exactly invite people over but, you know, I'm hoping to move in my flat this summer so you can already consider that you'll have a place to crash whenever you feel like coming to visit. So okay I don't live in Paris, but it's really not far by RER :-)

Btw, I liked the advert, hun! I've read before about people going out into the streets to offer free hugs, must be a nice way to spend a day *is a hug whore*! Who is the song by though, do you know?
