Her Life is a WIP

First Important Big Top weekend is over. Not the Most Important, but the one that really says we're back in business - last week was just an appetiser. No funny story to tell this year, though - for now, that is. No bear deciding to take a hike for no reason, for instance. Sadly, there was no candy floss either - being of charge of the candy floss was So Much Fun last year. Alas this year there's none at all. There is chocolate and other junk food, mind you. We're also provided "food" in between two showings, so in lieu of lunch the past two days we got offered pains au chocolat and croissants and candies and yeah, chocolate. Hmm, maybe not exactly the healthy kind of food? But definitely the yummy kind :-)

No wait, I got to sell one of our little fluos to a Snowman Man who played trumpet in a band of Snowmen Men. Quite a funny sight it was, too *nods*

As stressful and tiring the whole Big Top thing is, it does mean Christmas to me and so I'm firmly in Christmas mode right now. I also got to savour my Kinders - the ones in my advent calendar. Know what? Come to think of it, maybe that's a lot of chocolate for one person? I'll survive, though, I'm sure *g* Also, I've seen several people on the flist talk about advent calendars and how they're too old for them now and, dude, so happy I never got the memo because not having my advent calendar? Would be sad! Or hey, maybe I did get the memo and just threw it away? Could be a possibility *g*

So anyway, we're in December, there're decorations and talks of Christmas IRL and on my flist and then I remembered that DUDE! I have my very own Christmas tradition here. On my journal, I mean. Do some of you remember my little Christmas songs turned NC-17 songs? It's that time of the year again! And because I decided not to be lazy this year, I even added two mores songs. Aren't I nice? Don't answer that!

Hmm do you need to add ratings to that kind of stuff? Just in case: NC-17 and kinky themes behind the cut. Also, vile corruption of Christmas classics?

And one would say this doesn't have anything to do with the rest of the entry, except they would be wrong because each new episode of Dexter feels a bit like Christmas, so let me just say that I can't wait for tonight tomorrow's episode!

Hey, I came back from work sooner than planned and we don't even have to do the inventory tonight - wheee! So a not so litte entry to reward me for the hard work we did *g*

Did I mention that I found a HL RPS comm some time ago? Cause I did - oh and of course I was offended and outraged and embarrassed and I so didn't join! Except... okay, no I wasn't and yes I did. And Babycakes? What pairing did I read last night? Valentine Pelka/Hugh Grant! No, I'm not making that pairing up, I did read it - and enjoyed it too. But I have something to say in my defense! It was a BDSM fic!

Hmm? Of course it explains everything. Anyway, I read the pairing and laughed at first because... Valentine Pelka/Hugh Grant, you know? Then I got intrigued and when I saw the BDSM neon flashing in front of my eyes, I just caved in and read. Well it was quite good. Only problem is, each time I read 'Hugh', I thought of Hugh Jackman, and everyone knows that if Hugh Jackman has to be slashed with someone... it's with David Wenham. When he's not busy with Viggo or Sean... or both.

Or maybe everyone doesn't know... because yes, RPS is WRONG! Except when it's not - I'm not saying that sometimes it's just plain hot... or am I? Wow, RPS so messes up with my head!

Oh and I just realised that the BDSM RPS I mentioned above is actually part of The Establishment universe. Makes sense *nodnod*

Yeah anyway, let's change the subject... but let's stay little pervs. So. I was listening to my Christmas tape this morning while getting ready to go to class [class first, work afterward] and it reminded me that last year I'd written two sorta X-rated versions of Twelve Days of Christmas and Sleigh Ride and I decided to make it a Christmas tradition on my LJ, so I'm posting them again.

And on a final note --really, I swear-- damn but it's cold these days! I pulled a Blair Sandburg yesterday and today and added layers after layers of clothes because it's freezing. Why yes, I can be a dork even when I'm dressing. I'm quite the happy camper because I love winter and cold, and I'm even happier because it's smelling of snow, you know? It's the right temperature, it's the right weather and it just 'smells' right... it could snow for Christmas, man, it could! And I'm fed up of watching the weather forecast and seeing snow in lots of places but my own town. I want snow dammit!

ETA: Did you read the latest spoilers about SG S9? Oh boy, I understand why the whole fandom is exploding - I could hear the SQUEEE all over the place, well I see why now lol If that's true btw... is this real news? Validated and everything? [Edit: So okay apparently it's not an hoax nor a rumor or anything, definitely should be interesting *g* Am curious about the whole dynamic of this new season *is already curious*]
