Work was funny again today; I had to deal with "prags" for the second time since June. People must wonder why I always have this little smile on my face when I mention the word but, come on! We're organising a little seminar and we're inviting the university's prags. How could I not smile? They should be happy I'm not giggling stupidly!

Changing the subject. Everyone should have a friend who knits. Because when you have a friend who knits, ( they do adorable - and practical - stuff like this )

crazybutsound made me my very own mp3 cozy! And it's the cutest cozy ever! I just want to hug it and kiss it and squeeze it and call it George!

And now she's knitting me a book cozy ♥ ♥

Also? She's totally doing it on her volition! I'm not, like, using her as my knitty slave or anything *wide eyes of Pure Innocence*

Plus, we're watching Christmas Cottage as I type this, so it's not as if she didn't have something sweet to listen to/watch while she's being all knitty, right? Right.

Speaking of, that film is just adorable. Cheesy and Christmassy - or is that an oxymoron? - and we're both enjoying it a lot; it's the kind of sappy I find irresistible - I can't help it! Plus! Jared, who's awesome. And a leftie! And Richard Burgi with a porntache! This, in particular, delights Jem to no end. That, and Jared/Tom's woolly hats and mittens and scarves and jumpers. What's not to love?

Dude! One of my Numb3rs fics won an award! And I didn't know! First time I win at a fic award :-) I'm not telling which category I won, though. Because as someone who claims to love dark fics and kinky stories so much, I'm afraid I'd be mocked mercilessly and eek I have already said too much, so I'm shutting up now! Draw your own conclusion if you want to, I won't say anything!

Today is Friday! Actually it would have more meaning if I didn't have to work this weekend, but I'll keep the translating at a minimum so yay! Friday!

Speaking about my job; so what I do is listen to interviews - of the business kind, not of the 'hee did you see Jared and Jensen's new interview?!' kind. Sadly - type them down in French and then translate them in English. And you wouldn't believe how hard it was today not to add all those 'stage directions' like we do in our mails/posts/whatever. You know the '*giggles*' '*rolls eyes*' '*facepalm*' and stuff? Because, when I listen to the tapes, sometimes Person 1 and Person 2 will be joking with each other but when I type down the thing it sounds so cold and just - why can't I write those interviews like I write my entries? They would be so much nicer. Those clients don't know what they're missing, that's all I'm sayin'.

Oh and today is also Pi Day, except not because we don't celebrate it here - today is 14.03 not 03.14- so a Happy Pi Day to some of you and not!Pi Day to the others.

Does this entry feel disjointed to you? Because it sorta is. And it's not getting any better, so without the slightest segue: I watched the pilot of Young MacGyver yesterday and awww baby!Jared! Being a little MacGyver and following in his uncle's footsteps and being all smrt and brave and cool. And he had great hair, too! Not that it has anything to do with anything but he did. At one point I realised what they reminded me of; Clay had the same hair an anime character would have.

Still without any segue; ever since they started airing Buffy for the umpteenth time, I've been waiting for s5 to start and for "The Body" to air and today was "I Was Made to Love You" and I caught the very last minute of it and *goosebumps* I was supposed to meet with tbf!Sandrine on Monday and stay the night but she cancelled and I'm like 'it was fate!' because now I'll be able to watch "The Body"… and cry. And cry some more.

Lastly. Californication premieres on M6 tonight. I think I'll give it a go.

Would someone please tell my internet connection that disappearing on me is very dangerous for my health - physical and mental - and that it should stop doing it? Why, oh why do you hurt me so, Livebox! You've been such a good girl all this time, why the sudden rebellion? *clings*

Anyway. So. Is anyone out there watching New Amsterdam? I know I shouldn't expect anything from that show or its future - or the lack thereof - but I'm quite enjoying it. In a Moonlight kinda way? Well, I think it's better than Moonlight but then it's not exactly difficult to be better than Moonlight, so I don't know... NA is ridden with cliches but I don't care... and I really like John, Omar and Eva, which is always the clincher for me. Give me a show - good or lame - with characters I can believe in, and I'll watch it. And if you give me some nice character dynamics, I'll keep watching.

( Speaking of which, I want to say something about Johh and Omar, which will be spoilery so I'm cutting this. )

Yes, I can ramble about shows even when they're less than stellar and probably doomed to a quick death; it's a gift.

I promise I won't write the fic I mentioned under the cut though. Plus, if I have to write in a new fandom - one of my beloved one shot thing - it'll be T:TSCC, anyway. I had this little scene that popped into my head the other day... I'll keep it stored somewhere for future reference. Plus² if I have to write something, I think it'd better be the first/last section of my latest Night!fic.

And this has nothing to do with anything, except I'm still talking about TV, so I'm not completely off topic, they're airing s4 - I think it's s4 - of Gilmore Girls at the moment, and whenever I watch the opening credits and see Jared Padalecki followed with Milo Ventimiglia, it feels like reading a RPS AU fic of sorts. Makes me smile each time.

... and will be responsible for any potential rotten teeth.

Saw the French Posse this afternoon. Since it was such a beautiful sunny day we wandered along the Seine ~~though not before paying a visit to Starbucks, of course~~ and you know how it is when it's bright and sunny - or not but if you're French, you'll know what I mean, at least - there were those little candy stalls here and there being all colorful and delicious looking and so very tempting. We didn't make a stop at the first one because Sam - who's such a willful person - dragged GD away, who in turn dragged me away and so we couldn't buy anything. In Summer, when we'll wear only tank tops and no coat or anything, it'll be much more difficult to pull us by the sleeves, but alas it's not the right time yet *pout*

So anyway, no candies for us, right? Except, Sam was the first to leave and then it was just GD and me and, well, as it happens we found another candy stall. We weren't going to stop. Really. We just slowed down to have a look, right? But that's when GD - note how I'm slowly putting the blame on someone else - said the magic words. She pointed at one particular candy - which is a favourite of mine - and was like 'They remind me of the candies Jared stuffed himself with in the DVD extra.' And that's when I said 'Omg! We can't not buy some now! We can't!' So we did. Buy some. And stuffed ourselves with the yummy candies *smacks lips*

greedy_dancer? I'm thinking on putting the blame on Jared Padalecki instead of you, after all. So I hereby declare that you've been un-blamed by the present entry, 'kay?

And just before meeting with the girls, I watched Numb3rs 3x19 - ( let me cut this RIGHT NOW so that I can squee without delay )

Unrelated now, though still telly-wise. If I'm not mistaken and if TF1 doesn't screw with the programming, tonight's episodes of L&O:CI should be "In The Wee Small Hours" which means a) an episode I've been dying to see for a long time and b) Billy Lush on my telly!

Ohhh and I was going to forget omg! I need to pay a little visit to Ann Summers' site for some er, research, since Sam is going to London next week and offered to buy some stuff for us *smiles prettily* I think I've already made up my mind, but you never know...
